What Can I Expect at My Appointment?

Your Polynucleotide Treatment Appointment
Your polynucleotide treatment will take between 30-60 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated. Your practitioner will review your medical history, discuss your desired outcome, and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the treatment.

Aftercare
After your polynucleotide injection treatment, there are specific steps to follow to ensure optimal results. These include:

  • Wait at least 24 hours before engaging in strenuous exercise, though light exercise can be performed after 4 hours.
  • Avoid rubbing, massaging, or touching the treated area for at least a day to prevent disrupting the treatment.
  • Avoid alcohol consumption, as it can increase the risk of bruising.
  • Do not apply any harsh skin treatments like exfoliating scrubs or chemical peels for a few days.
  • Avoid undergoing other cosmetic treatments such as dermal fillers or laser therapy for at least two weeks.
  • Stay away from direct sun exposure, and use sunscreen to protect the treated area.
