​At your dermal filler appointment, you’ll begin with a consultation to discuss your aesthetic goals and medical history. The practitioner will cleanse the treatment area and may apply a topical numbing cream to enhance comfort. Using a fine needle or cannula, the filler is injected into targeted areas, a process that typically takes 15 to 30 minutes. Post treatment, you might experience mild swelling or bruising, which usually subsides within a few days. Your practitioner will provide aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results.​
