During an assessment, our autism specialists take the time to understand an individual’s unique profile, including their communication style, behaviours, challenges, and strengths. They will gather information about your developmental and medical history, as well as any family history of autism. We utilise nationally recognised assessment tools, such as the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) and the ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised), depending on age and individual needs.

Our team of specialists can then provide comprehensive diagnostic reports, recommendations for support and intervention, and guidance for ongoing care. An appointment typically takes between 1–2 hours, depending on the complexity of the assessment.
