Hepatitis A & Typhoid Vaccinations

Alongside individual hepatitis A & typhoid vaccinations, we also offer a combined vaccination to protect yourself whilst travelling. This is ideal if you are travelling to places like Asia, Africa and the Middle East where sanitation and food hygiene are poor.

What Can I Expect at My Appointment?

A healthcare professional will ask questions such as your previous medical history, where you are staying, activities you will be doing and how long you will be staying abroad. You should get vaccinated at least 2 weeks before travelling, and the course consists of one dose in the upper arm. You may experience some side effects after your vaccination such as a high temperature, fatigue and soreness at the injection site, but these should subside within a few days.
